Course Description
Fashion AI introduces students to the practical and conceptual use of artificial intelligence within fashion design, communication, and visual development. The course focuses on how generative AI tools can be integrated into creative workflows to support ideation, concept development, visual storytelling, and production-ready outputs. Students work hands-on with contemporary AI platforms for image generation, video, and text, learning how to translate creative intent into precise AI-driven results through effective prompt design and curation.
Emphasis is placed on understanding model behavior, refining outputs, and maintaining aesthetic and conceptual control throughout the creative process. The course positions AI as a creative assistant rather than a replacement, reinforcing authorship, critical judgment, and design integrity. Ethical considerations, copyright awareness, and responsible use of AI in fashion contexts are embedded throughout the course. Upon completion, students will be able to confidently integrate AI tools into fashion-related workflows such as concept development, campaign visuals, lookbooks, editorial imagery, social media content, and experimental design processes.
